Conceptual Budgeting

JACOBS starts at the conceptual level, where we guide our clients through the decision making process. JACOBS has the expertise and resources to manage everything associated with the building process--from planning and financing to site acquisition and program/project management.

An integral part of the planning and shaping process is the financial analysis involved in determining the most appropriate capitalization structure. JACOBS can fashion independently, or work with an owner's financial team, to design a program to meet project-funding guidelines.

JACOBS then works with the owner team to develop conceptual cost models and a matrix of events that can zero in to develop an order of magnitude budget that is within 5-7% of a more defined GMP estimate generated much later in the budgeting process.
